MYRA programs are made possible thanks to Volunteer Coaches. Parents and Guardians are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches - as well as being their kid’s greatest fans. Tackle Football:

Tackle football is in a Siouxland football league that has teams from Woodbury Central, Lawton-Bronson, Hinton, West Monona, Westwood, Vermillion, Dakota Valley, and Sioux City school districts.  Grades consist of 3rd thru 6th grade.  There are 5 regular season games and 1-2 year end tournament games.  Games start in early September.

Padded Flag Football:

Flag football consists of players in 3rd and 4th grade.  League games depends on quantity of teams signed up Games start in early September.

Flag football consists of players in 1st and 2nd grade.  League games depends on quantity of teams signed up and are played in Sergeant Bluff.  Games start in early September.

 

Registration normally starts in early July and be done by end of July 

 

**All participants must have a sports physical, a mouth guard that attaches to their helmet, cleats, and a jock or compression shorts before the first contact practice**
